Code of Conduct

We strive to make each performance our best. We treat every event with the highest professional courtesy and attention that it deserves. To ensure this ideal, we have written a code of conduct for our staff. Many of these standards guard against complaints people have about unprofessional DJ services. We have never experienced any problems in the past, and these standards help to protect our future!

 

 

General

Operate our business in an ethically sound manner while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.

Abide by all laws and regulations governing our professional activities.

Use legal forms of music and performance materials in the conduct of our entertainment services.

Be honest and realistic conveying talent, abilities, and level of services to our clients.

Deliver products and services to my clients, as promised, to the best of our abilities

Use a written contract clearly stating all charges, services, products, performance expectations and other essential information.

Provide a safe work environment with adequate protection for our clients & their guests.

Maintain adequate and appropriate insurance coverage for all business activities.

To recognize the rights of others to compete for business.

Appearance Of Staff

Hair must be neat (preferably short)

Earrings (if worn) must be small and unobtrusive.

Body rings (other than earrings) are not permitted

Men with mustaches and/or beards must keep them short and neatly trimmed. All other men must be clean-shaven.

Short skirts or "skimpy" outfits are not permitted. Shorts are generally not permitted (unless told otherwise).

Conduct Of Staff

DJs will accept gratuities from customers only when it is approved by the Client and offered by the guest. The DJ will not encourage, expect or demand tips for playing any special music. They will respond to guests by saying "We'll be happy to play any appropriate requests that you have." The DJs will accept a gratuity from the Client at the end of his or her performance for a job well done.

DJs will NEVER use any kind of foul language, off-color humor, or racist language while at the venue (including during setup and breakdown). This includes making negative comments about anyone's choice of music.

DJs will always be friendly and respectful to guests, clients, and any other professional staff at the event.
